Sometimes reverse osmosis alone is not enough for producing process water for industrial plants. For example, there are strict quality requirements for make-up water in power plants. Treatment processes are combination of various unit processes: reverse osmosis (RO), electrodeionization (EDI), traditional ion-exchange and conventional filtration. Each case is individual depending on the source water and process water requirements. ARTAS has long experience in power plant water treatment. Smaller units can be prefabricated in a factory, so their installation is simple and fast.
